Duration:Temp to Hire
Pay Range: $60.00 - $80.00/hr. On W2
 
Job Description:
  • The Project Manager will lead and coordinate all activities associated with the office relocation and consolidation effort from the offices from one location in Pearl River, NY to Spring Valley, NY, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations. This role will serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, vendors, and internal support teams throughout planning, execution, and post-move activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination and Leadership
  • Serve as the dedicated project manager for all relocation and decommissioning activities.
  • Develop and maintain the overall project schedule, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities among internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Cross-Functional Team Management
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional move team consisting of representatives from:
  • Facilities
  • Information Technology (IT)/Telecommunications
  • Real Estate
  • Security
  • Media Services (A/V Technology)
  • Business Operations
  • Conduct regular status meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain alignment among all teams.
  • Communication and Change Management
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan for affected employees and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate employee communications regarding office material disposition, including a corporate records management plan:
  • Purging unnecessary items
  • Relocating materials to offsite storage
  • Moving required materials to the new location
  • Provide regular project updates and ensure stakeholders remain informed of key milestones, schedules, and expectations.
  • Move Execution Planning
  • Develop phased and staged move schedules to minimize operational interruptions.
  • Coordinate move sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure move activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • Oversee decommissioning activities at vacated locations and verify completion of all closeout tasks.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful coordination across all functional teams and vendors.
  • Achieve timely completion of move and decommissioning activities while meeting safety, operational, and budget requirements.
Reporting Relationship
  • The Project Manager will coordinate their activities with the Project Manager of the SVOC Building Addition Project, as well as the Facilities Director/Manager and provide regular updates to project stakeholders, and department leadership.
