Description

Major/Essential Functions

  • Oversee the full project management lifecycle, including the project intake process.
  • Create and maintain project documentation (e.g., charters, timelines, communication plans, risk assessments, decision matrices, issue logs, action items, project status updates, schedule management) using TTUS-provided templates and tools in accordance with TTUS PMO standards.
  • Consistently provide exceptional service and maintain effective communication with team members, project team members, and stakeholders at all organizational levels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with institutional leaders, project teams, external partners, and governance committees to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; facilitate meetings and presentations, foster cross-functional collaboration, remove roadblocks, and promote informed decision-making and accountability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, and processes; promote and share project management best practices through training and collaboration; and stay current on emerging project management trends and practices, particularly within higher education.
  • Adheres to all appropriate Institutional policies (including IT OPs) and other relevant internal departmental policies and procedures.

  • Professional experience supporting remote and hybrid teams. 
  • Professional experience in higher education. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

$78,900 - $102,600 - $126,200
