    Project Manager

    Room 8 Group is an end-to-end strategic partner in external game development. Working across all platforms, we provide creative and technical expertise across game development, technology, art, trailers, and QA for AAA and AA games.

    For 15 years, we've built creative partnerships with world-leading publishers such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Sony, Gameloft, Take2, EA, and more. While leveraging our own cutting-edge tools and R&D capabilities, we've co-created a multitude of award-winning projects for video game IPs and franchises including Call of Duty, Diablo, Assassin's Creed, Star Trek, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, and many more.

    Through primarily organic growth, we are proudly independent, now home to around 1,100 creatives based in Europe, North America, and South America.

    The next great challenge is coming:

    Room 8 Studio is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage a portfolio of internal transformational projects and lead selected cross-functional initiatives from planning to successful delivery. In this role, you'll ensure structured execution, clear governance, effective stakeholder alignment, and transparent reporting while helping teams achieve meaningful business outcomes.

    You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, sponsors, and other contributors, proactively managing risks and dependencies, facilitating decision-making, and continuously improving project management practices across the organization

    Superpowers you have:

    • 3+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, business operations, or a similar role;
    • Hands-on experience managing complex cross-functional projects or programs from initiation to closure;
    • Experience with PMO structures, project governance, portfolio management, or standardized delivery methodologies;
    • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate alignment and decision-making;
    • Experience with risk, issue, dependency, and change management;
    • Ability to structure complex information and translate it into clear, concise communication for stakeholders and management;
    • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft applications;
    • Understanding of project-related costs, budgets, business impact, and business case preparation;
    • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment;
    • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple initiatives and adapt to changing requirements;
    • Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher level of English.

    Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

    • Manage a portfolio of internal programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives;
    • Lead selected cross-functional projects from initiation through closure, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria;
    • Establish and maintain project governance, including portfolio reviews, decision-making forums, and reporting routines;
    • Track project and portfolio performance across timelines, costs, risks, dependencies, and expected business outcomes;
    • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate mitigation and timely escalation;
    • Facilitate collaboration between sponsors, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and other contributors;
    • Prepare clear and concise project updates, reports, and recommendations for stakeholders and management;
    • Maintain key project documentation, including business cases, project charters, plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and status reports;
    • Facilitate project meetings and working sessions, ensuring decisions and action items are clearly documented and followed up;
    • Develop and continuously improve project management methodologies, templates, and delivery practices across the organization;
    • Share project management knowledge and best practices to strengthen delivery standards across teams.
