Project Manager

The Project manager will oversee commercial and government construction projects from start to finish. They manage budgets, timelines, subcontractors, and client relations to ensure successful, safe, and profitable project execution.

Core Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Plan and supervise all construction operations and intermediate phases to ensure strict deadlines are met.
• Financial Management: Determine required resources, prepare subcontracts, issue purchase orders, and operate within budgetary limitations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Chair progress meetings with clients and maintain ongoing communication with superintendents and subcontractors.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all construction procedures adhere strictly to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Documentation: Keep project documents complete and up-to-date, track project issues, and evaluate progress through detailed reporting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 3+ years of experience in commercial or governmental contracting with a local general contractor.
• Education: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with construction and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Timberline, CPM Scheduling) is highly valued.
• Certifications: Holding a PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a distinct advantage
