Project Manager - Data Center Construction

East of Reno, the industrial park around McCarran has turned into one of the biggest hyperscale data center hubs in the country, and the work keeps coming. A well-regarded general contractor is hiring a Project Manager to lead data center construction there. What You'll Do

• Lead data center projects from preconstruction and buyout through commissioning and closeout

• Manage budgets, schedules, cost reports, change orders and owner billing

• Build easy, trusting relationships with owners, design teams and trade partners

• Track procurement of long-lead gear like switchgear, generators, UPS systems and chillers

• Partner with superintendents on safety, quality, sequencing and integrated systems testing

• Coach project engineers and assistant project managers as they grow

What You Bring

• Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical construction (required)

• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, MEP coordination and commissioning

• A steady, organized approach to cost and schedule control

• Friendly, clear communication with owners, engineers and field teams

• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
