Project Manager - Construction - Brooklyn

Our client is a premier luxury residential General Contractor specializing in custom interior renovations throughout Brooklyn and New York City. Their portfolio includes landmark brownstone restorations, penthouse fit-outs, townhouse renovations, and bespoke residential interiors, earning them a reputation for outstanding craftsmanship and white-glove client service.

As a Project Manager - Construction - Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing luxury residential renovation projects from start to finish
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Coordinating architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Managing procurement, contracts, and subcontractor buyouts
  • Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Overseeing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finish packages
  • Leading client meetings and providing project updates
  • Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial controls
  • Working closely with Superintendents to ensure successful project execution
  • Identifying project risks and implementing solutions proactively
  • Managing project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Overseeing project closeout and punch-list completion

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
  • Extensive experience managing luxury residential interior renovations
  • Proven experience with penthouses, brownstones, townhouses, or custom residences
  • Strong understanding of high-end finishes and interior construction methods
  • Experience managing millwork, cabinetry, stone, metal, and specialty trades
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control experience
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
