They offer a collaborative environment where project leaders are empowered to drive results, build strong client relationships, and grow their careers.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will:Manage projects through the full lifecycle, including estimating, contracting, buyout, construction administration, financial management, and closeout.Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.Obtain and manage permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements as needed.Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, cleanliness, and contract compliance.Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders, cost estimates, and project proposals.Develop and maintain CPM project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.Monitor schedule performance and identify critical path impacts, delays, and recovery strategies.Coordinate look-ahead schedules with field leadership to ensure project milestones are achieved.Determine the most effective approach for subcontracted and self-performed work activities.Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to meet project objectives.Proactively identify project risks and implement solutions before issues impact cost or schedule.Lead project meetings and maintain clear documentation of progress and decisions.Establish and maintain project controls, including submittal, RFI, and change order tracking systems.Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.Prepare owner requisitions and oversee vendor and subcontractor payments.Ensure compliance with contract requirements, legal obligations, safety standards, and client-specific programs.Manage project closeout activities, substantial completion documentation, and final turnover.Participate in professional development, industry networking, and ongoing learning opportunities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
