    Project Manager (Commercial Drywall and Interiors)

    Location: Syracuse, NY

    The Opportunity

    We are working with a growing commercial drywall and interiors contractor in the Syracuse market that is actively expanding its project portfolio. The company has recently secured significant work, including projects in the $10M+ range, with additional backlog building quickly.

    They are looking to bring on a dedicated Project Manager to help support this growth and take ownership of key projects. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role with clear visibility toward future leadership and operational responsibility.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage commercial drywall and interiors projects from kickoff through completion.
    • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and overall execution.
    • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.
    • Handle RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
    • Drive project profitability and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience managing commercial drywall and interiors projects.
    • Ability to run multiple projects while maintaining control of schedule, cost, and quality.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Experience working in union environments is a plus.
    • Field background or strong understanding of construction processes preferred.

    Compensation

    Competitive base salary based on experience.
