This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer ready to take the next step into project management or expand their current leadership responsibilities.     The Role

    The Bridge Project Manager will lead technical bridge and structural assignments while supporting the firm’s continued growth across Massachusetts. The role includes managing a team, mentoring junior staff, contributing to regional project work, and participating in client and public meetings. The position is ideal for someone looking to deepen their project ownership and grow into broader management responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and grow a structural engineering team

    • Lead technical work across multiple offices within Massachusetts

    • Mentor junior engineering staff through all phases of bridge and structural design

    • Contribute to client meetings and public presentations

    • Support project delivery and ensure technical quality

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months

    • 6+ years of experience with transportation-related structures

    • Strong technical expertise in bridge design and calculations

    • Familiarity with AASHTO and MassDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures

    • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Ability to manage tasks independently and drive results
