Technology Project Manager to fulfill an immediate contract opportunity.
This position is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, AL. Cannot work with 3rd parties, applicants must be USC or Green Card holder as visa sponsorship is not provided.
Day to Day Responsibilities:- Lead multiple technology projects from planning through implementation and completion, ensuring milestones and deliverables remain on track.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, resource allocations, and timelines while managing dependencies and competing priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and operational personnel to drive project execution.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and resource constraints while maintaining alignment with established project objectives.
- Maintain project documentation, status reports, schedules, and portfolio updates in accordance with established project management practices.
- Support technology modernization and systems-related initiatives, coordinating implementation activities and transitions to ongoing operations.
Position Requirements:- 5+ years of project management experience leading technology initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Experience managing projects involving industrial technology, operational systems, automation, infrastructure, or related technical environments.
- Strong project scheduling, resource planning, dependency management, and coordination skills across multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with structured project management methodologies, including scope management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change control.
- Familiarity with project management and portfolio tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Planview, Primavera, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Project management certifications are a plus.
