Project Manager - Agile & Advanced Excel - # 26-24326

The ideal candidate is a Senior Project Manager with experience leading complex projects, strong Agile Project Management skills, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, sorting, filtering, and data analysis. Must have proven expertise in managing project schedules, budgets, risks, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, along with the ability to interpret complex Excel documents and apply critical thinking to support project decisions.

Must have proven expertise in managing project schedules, budgets, risks, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, along with the ability to interpret complex Excel documents and apply critical thinking to support project decisions. Experience with electric utilities, T&D contractors, or engineering firms is preferred.

Job Summary

• This position is typically retained to manage multiple Green I or Green II projects per the Project Management Centre of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

Responsibilities:

• Ideal candidate has Agile PM experience in the utility industry
• Utility experience to include power specifically (distribution, transmission, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

• Masters’ business (MBA), project management, or equivalent. Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMP or CAPM Certification; CMII/Construction Certifications; Professional Engineer License.
• Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls. Experience in utility industry. Knowledge in construction management.
• The Project Manager II may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management)
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel experience
• Ability to create pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Basic Excel skill sets of sorting, organizing, etc.
• Critical thinking to be able to interpret complex Excel documents

Experience:

• 5-9 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university. Proficient in project management principles.
