Description

Join a premier ENR Construction Management firm to spearhead our Special Projects Division out of our regional office in Connecticut. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, this executive role leads commercial construction and renovation projects ranging from $5M to $30M across Connecticut, Westchester County (NY), and Western Massachusetts. Job Responsibilities

  • Division Leadership: Direct and scale the Special Projects Division, ensuring all safety, quality, schedule, and profitability targets are met across the project portfolio.
  • Preconstruction & Strategy: Guide preconstruction efforts, constructability reviews, scheduling, and value engineering in coordination with project managers and estimating teams.
  • Business Development & Client Management: Partner with internal business development teams to secure new opportunities (no cold calls required) and serve as the executive point of contact to nurture long-term client and architect relationships.
  • Team Operations & Accountability: Mentor project managers and field teams, establishing clear accountability for budget management, contract execution, and project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager successfully leading commercial construction and renovation projects in the $5M to $30M range.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with regional commercial markets and subcontractor networks across Connecticut, Westchester County, and Western Massachusetts.
  • Core Competencies: Expertise in preconstruction planning, contract negotiations, team leadership, and multi-project financial oversight.
