Project Coordinator - L3 Vehicle Operations Training

This role partners with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, Project Managers, and Training personnel to align on scope, timelines, and implementation of training materials, while driving portfolio management and stakeholder review processes to ensure content remains accurate, current, and compliant. The L3 Vehicle Operations Training Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development, execution, and quality of training programs for the L3 Vehicle Operators team.

JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator - L3 Vehicle Operations Training
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA
PAY RANGE: $55 - $65/hr.
DURATION: 6 Months

POSITION SUMMARY:
The L3 Vehicle Operations Training Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development, execution, and quality of training programs for the L3 Vehicle Operators team. This role partners with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, Project Managers, and Training personnel to align on scope, timelines, and implementation of training materials, while driving portfolio management and stakeholder review processes to ensure content remains accurate, current, and compliant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and implementation of training materials for the L3 Vehicle Operators team. This includes working with SMEs, Instructional Designers, and Project Managers to align on scope, phases, and implementation timelines.
• Review and sign off on training materials, vetting for quality and design standards. Secure other stakeholder reviews and approval.
• Drive and report out on training development and execution timelines
• Manage the portfolio of L3 Vehicle Operations training content, ensuring that updates are completed promptly and content is audited at a specific cadence
• Work with Training personnel in each L3 Vehicle Operations deployment location to ensure training completion and compliance for both new and refresher trainings.
• Sync with the L3 Training Program Manager to prioritize training needs and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous training facilitation, development, or management experience
• 1-3 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle or related operations fieldspace
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Proven ability to problem-solve and improve operational efficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues to support trainees
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Flexible schedule to accommodate training events
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time (e.g., site visits, in-person training delivery, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 6 months as a Training Supervisor or other training support role on the L3 Vehicle Operations team.
• Strong knowledge of L3 Vehicle Operations procedures and responsibilities
• Proficiency with Google Workspace collaboration tools such as Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, and Forms
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems such as Docebo or Cornerstone
• Experience working in learning authoring programs such as Articulate 360 (Rise or Storyline)

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree/management experience preferred.
