Project Controls Manager

JSG is seeking a Project Controls Manager for our client based in the Philadelphia PA area
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to lead critical cost management functions, influence project outcomes, and collaborate closely with a forward-thinking organization on exciting projects in the central New Jersey region.
As a key contributor, you’ll oversee project setup, monitor and forecast costs, manage cash flow and spend projections, and ensure vendor and contract compliance. Your expertise will drive efficient project closeouts and maintain strong financial oversight, making a tangible impact on project success and client satisfaction.

Pay $60/hour to $72/hour

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or cost management
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
• Strong understanding of project setup, change order review, and invoice processing
• Experience with vendor contract setup and purchase order management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite 3-4 days/week initially, with a minimum of 50% onsite presence thereafter

Nice to Have Skills:

• Scheduling experience
• familiarity with project management software and tools
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project controls or cost management roles

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with initial onsite onboarding
• Must be local to Princeton, NJ, or Philadelphia, PA for consideration
• Depending on client requirements, flexibility to adapt to onsite minimums and other project needs
