    Metropolitan Companies is looking for a Project Administrator to join our growing team! The Project Administrator is a multi-faceted position that will provide administrative support to the Project Managers for multifamily apartment projects as part of our Haverford Square by Metropolitan division. The person in this role oversees a wide array of administrative tasks that help ensure a project moves forward in a timely, organized, and efficient manner. This role will be based out of our Philadelphia, PA office.

    Key Responsibilities



    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain project directory and distribution lists, communicate with trade partners
    • Prepare subcontracts and work orders; request lien waivers  
    • Assist with project budget maintenance
    • Enter and review trade partner invoices with Project Manager guidance and sync with ERP when required
    • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation for billing and lien waivers. 
    • Assist Project Manager with processing RFI submittals and COs as directed by Project Manager through Procore.
    • Assist with submittal process and workflows
    • Schedule and prepare for meetings; record and distribute meeting minutes.
    • Maintain drawing log and distribute drawings
    • Assist in maintaining weekly schedule distribution for the projects as directed by the Project Manager
    • Perform other duties as assigned and required

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Construction experience strongly preferred 
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft 365, DocuSign, Adobe)
    • Valid Driver's License and reliable transpiration are required 

    Preferred:
    • Previous experience in an administrative or project based role in is helpful
    • Basic knowledge of construction industry and terminology
    • Familiarity with construction management software packages
