Senior ServiceNow Developer (Programmer 5) is a critical technical role responsible for delivering high quality, secure, and compliant ServiceNow solutions in our FedRAMP authorized environment. This position requires advanced development expertise, strong platform knowledge, disciplined SDLC practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and cross functional technical teams.

  • On site only: SOCC, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Work performed within a FedRAMP regulated ServiceNow instance.
  • Position supports ongoing enterprise initiatives, including release management, platform stability, ServiceNow integrations, and customer agency needs (as reflected in previous platform work and integrations).

 

POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Design, develop, implement, and enhance ServiceNow applications, integrations, and custom solutions aligned to DAS Client and enterprise standards.
  • Build high quality, secure, and scalable code following best practices and FedRAMP compliance guidelines.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for platform defects, performance issues, and complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross functional teams to refine requirements, evaluate design options, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining quality across the ESM development team.
  • Support monthly releases, regression testing, UAT cycles, and platform stability efforts (aligned with responsibilities outlined in internal developer role expectations).
  • Maintain technical documentation, including workflows, test scripts, requirements, and architectural artifacts.
  • Mentor junior developers and delegated agency developers, guiding them on best practices, development guardrails, and enterprise standards.
  • Ensure compliance with platform governance, security, and RACI-defined responsibilities for enterprise vs. agency development.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends, applying modern approaches to improve reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements, coding standards, and modernization of development methodologies.
WHAT’S NEEDED
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Developer adjacent, module specific, or similar.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, API integrations, scoped apps).
  • Strong understanding of secure development in regulated environments (FedRAMP/GCC High).
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise workflows, ServiceNow integrations, and release cycles.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Developer adjacent, module specific, or similar.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non technical stakeholders.

Senior ServiceNow Developer (Programmer 5) is a critical technical role within DAS Client’s Enterprise Service Management team, responsible for delivering high quality, secure, and compliant ServiceNow solutions in our FedRAMP authorized environment. This position requires advanced development expertise, strong platform knowledge, disciplined SDLC practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and cross functional technical teams.
This is a full time on site position at the *** Computer Center (SOCC), Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no remote or hybrid option. Due to contractual obligations with ServiceNow FedRAMP regulatory requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a valid Green Card.
Responsibilities
