Program Manager (Wealth Management)

This role will lead program planning, requirements gathering, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight while ensuring solutions align with Wealth Management business objectives. Expertise in Wealth Management domains including account onboarding, portfolio management, trading, advisory services, custody, reporting, and compliance.

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Program Manager (Wealth Management) for their Charlotte, NC location.
 
Responsibilities:

• This role will lead program planning, requirements gathering, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight while ensuring solutions align with Wealth Management business objectives.
• Act as the primary onsite liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Lead discovery sessions and gather business requirements; translate them into actionable deliverables.
• Manage end-to-end program planning, timelines, milestones, RAID logs, and status reporting.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and project working sessions.
• Partner with architects and IT leads to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery roadblocks.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and ensure consistent execution.
• Deliver executive-level communications and program updates.
• Support change management and adoption of new capabilities.

 
Requirements:

• 8+ years of Program/Project Management experience, preferably within Wealth Management or Financial Services.
• Strong techno-functional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or PM/BA.
• Expertise in Wealth Management domains including account onboarding, portfolio management, trading, advisory services, custody, reporting, and compliance.
• Proven experience leading requirement sessions and creating BRDs, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, planning, scheduling, RAID management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience collaborating with IT teams on architecture, integrations, data flows, and Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with Wealth Management platforms such as Pershing WOVE, SEI, or similar solutions.
• Strong Project/Program Management expertise.
• Exposure to Agentic AI initiatives and AI-enabled business solutions.
