Job Description

Job Summary:

The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the execution of customer programs and strategic initiatives across the organization while maintaining visibility across the full product lifecycle, including development, production, aftermarket support, repairs, and customer service activities. This role serves as a central point of coordination between Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Support, Sales, Finance, and external customers to ensure alignment, visibility, and timely execution of commitments. The Program Manager supports program execution through structured planning, risk management, status tracking, cross-functional coordination, contract execution support, and implementation of complex business initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate execution of assigned OEM and MRO programs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Maintain visibility of program status, milestones, risks, action items, and customer commitments.
  • Support implementation of program plans and contractual obligations.

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Support, Sales, and Finance.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between departments.
  • Support resolution of cross-functional issues impacting program execution.

Program Integration & Change Management

  • Coordinate the transition of new programs from proposal award through program launch and execution.
  • Coordinate implementation of engineering changes, customer change requests, and operational improvements.
  • Track execution of complex initiatives requiring multiple functional groups.

Customer Commitments & Program Alignment

  • Maintain awareness of customer requirements, contractual commitments, and program obligations that impact execution.
  • Ensure program execution activities remain aligned with customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with Account Management and functional teams regarding changes that may impact program execution, schedules, costs, or customer commitments.
  • Identify execution risks that could affect customer deliverables and support development of mitigation plans.
  • Support customer reviews, audits, and program status discussions as required.

Governance & Reporting

  • Coordinate recurring program reviews, risk reviews, and execution reviews.
  • Support weekly and monthly business review processes to ensure visibility of program performance, risks, priorities, and action items.
  • Maintain program metrics, status reports, and action tracking systems.
  • Provide timely visibility of program status, risks, and issues to management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in program management, project management, operations, engineering coordination, or related field.
  • Aerospace or manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and customer requirements.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with export control or regulatory compliance activities.
