Want to work with a cohesive team with a mission to improve the health of Idahoans within the Division of Behavioral Health? We are currently seeking one (1) Wraparound Program Manager within our System Design & Implementation Bureau. The program manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of their program, supervise staff, be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the program, and making decisions about the program they oversee. The position will collaborate with internal or external stakeholders and provide leadership and high-level subject matter expertise in the Wraparound Focus Area. The program manager will provide supervision for a team of statewide trainers, mentors, and coaches in the evidence-based Idaho Wraparound Intensive Services (IWInS) model for the provider network. The position will train and supervise staff to use standardized tools to evaluate and help programs achieve high fidelity in the wraparound model and will create quality improvement plans for the provider network when needed.

This is a statewide position that will report to the nearest DHW office. The assigned work location will depend on workstation availability at a DHW office.

This position may be eligible for limited telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

• Provides leadership and management oversight to the Wraparound team
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the program
• Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the program
• Provides leadership direction, supervision, coaching, training, technical assistance, and performance management, including disciplinary actions
• Provides supervisors with Training, Coaching, and Technical Assistance as needed
• Ensures staff have resources, training, and support needed to accomplish objectives
• Works collaboratively with Department and Divisional leadership
• Collaborate with internal or external stakeholders
• Conducts Quality and Operational Monitoring
• Performs related work

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. • Some knowledge of management practices as well as experience providing technical proficiency, problem-solving, communication, and program area training. Typically gained by at least one-year experience managing a major Program and providing leadership of professional staff. Candidates may also qualify through completing upper-division college-level management coursework along with experience in a significant Leadership role.

Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants.

• Experience that has provided considerable knowledge of clinical behavioral health care delivery and regulatory systems. Typically gained by at least three (3) years of professional experience in a behavioral health care delivery system.
• Experience managing and evaluating performance of a major program or project. Typically gained by at least (1) year of professional experience in a healthcare delivery system.
• Experience in providing Wraparound services using the IWINS model. Typically gained by at least one (1) year of work experience as a Wraparound facilitator.
