    Primary Duties and

    Responsibilities:

    This position exists to assist the Doctor of Pharmacy admissions process; provide administrative support to the Office of Student Affairs, and the Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences; and coordinate logistics and communications for School of Pharmacy events. Responsibilities include supporting admissions operations, maintaining applicant and student records, recruitment activities, student support initiatives, departmental operations, faculty recruitment and onboarding support, meeting and event coordination, and communications for students, alumni, and community stakeholders. Through these functions, the position supports enrollment and student success objectives, facilitates efficient departmental and administrative operations, and contributes to the successful planning and execution of School of Pharmacy activities and events.

    Primary position responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to the Office of Student Affairs, including coordinating student orientation, supporting pharmacy student organizations, processing student travel reimbursements, administering student assistance funds and supporting scholarship communications, and preparing student-facing communications.
    • Support the Doctor of Pharmacy admissions process by managing prospective student and applicant records, coordinating interviews, communicating with applicants, verifying admissions requirements, supporting recruitment events, assisting in data collection and reporting, and coordinating the incoming student peer mentor program.
    • Provide administrative support to the Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences, including managing schedules and communications, coordinating departmental meetings and events, supporting faculty recruitment and onboarding, maintaining organized department personnel records and reports, assisting with reports and documentation, and facilitating departmental operations.
    • Coordinate logistics and communications for School of Pharmacy program events through collaborating with multiple offices, including student, alumni, and community-facing activities, to ensure successful planning, communication, and execution.

    • Technical, Computer, and Software Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic databases and software. Prior experience with Salesforce would be considered a plus.
    • Customer Service / Interpersonal Engagement (prospective students, families, alumni, donors) experience.
    • Event and Program Coordination experience.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations. Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work.
    • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

    Required EducationAssociate''s degree in business, higher education, communications, or related field is required. Bachelor''s degree is preferred.

    Required ExperienceMinimum two years of relevant administrative experience in higher education, admissions, student affairs, or academic program support is required.
