Job Title: Production Supervisor 

Job Summary:

Responsible for directing production efforts within the assigned area and coordinating cross-functional production support efforts.  

Essential Job Functions:

Drive manufacturing operations within the assigned cell area. 

Lead direct labor staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

Coordinate cross-functionally within the organization to meet/exceed the customer requirements.

Provide production status and advice on any issues affecting on-time deliveries to support both internal and external customers. 

Identify and drive improvement efforts. 

Other duties as assigned. 

Education and Certifications:

Associate’s degree, Six Sigma certification, Lean Certification, etc. 

Environment:

Office and shop floor environments. 

Supervision:

As much or little as requested by the Manager

Requirements

Associate’s degree, Six Sigma certification, Lean Certification, or other manufacturing related certs and previous experience in a high mix low volume manufacturing environment. Previous experience using an ERP. Microsoft Office; Strong Excel skills a plus.
