We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 2nd Shift Production Manager to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire 2nd Shift production process.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans in line with company objectives and targets.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure the smooth execution of production processes.
  • Monitor the production process, make on-the-spot decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel, ensuring that all procedures are carried out according to established standards.
  • Analyze production data and implement improvements in line with findings.
  • Manage budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning processes.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on production progress.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to maintain product consistency and high quality.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Sheet-metal fabrication / heavy manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in production planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills and a sound understanding of data analysis techniques.
