Production Manager
Position Summary
The Production Manager oversees plant production operations, including blending, filling, shipping/receiving, raw material handling, inventory control, maintenance coordination, and safety compliance. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, leading production teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production activities, scheduling, and workforce management.
Drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor production performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company standards.
Oversee preventative maintenance and facility support activities.
Develop employees through training, coaching, and succession planning.
Support automation, process improvement, and plant technology initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7+ years of manufacturing experience within a chemical or process manufacturing environment.
3+ years of leadership experience managing production teams.
Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and production equipment.
Experience with ERP systems, production reporting, and inventory management.
Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000
