Position Summary: The Product Program Specialist provides administrative, operational, and customer service support for the council’s annual product programs, including the Girl Scout Cookie Program and Fall Product Program. This position supports program planning, training, reporting, booth coordination, volunteer communication, and day-to-day program administration to help ensure successful execution of product program activities and contribute to the council’s financial sustainability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Support the Director of Program in developing strategies to strengthen and grow Girl Scout Product Programs. Assist with the development, preparation, and distribution of product program training materials, including service community binders and program boxes. Provide administrative and logistical support for Fall Product and Cookie Program trainings. Coordinate corporate booth opportunities and related booth activities. Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with businesses and community partners to secure safe booth locations for troops throughout the council’s jurisdiction. Prepare product sales data, reports, and related documentation. Establish and support booth sales procedures and guidelines. Ensure required insurance information and permission requirements are completed and provided. Review and approve booth sale locations for troops. Serve as a liaison between product program staff, volunteer support staff, volunteers, families, and other stakeholders. Provide ongoing administrative support to the Product Program team, including data entry, telephone coverage, call follow-up, message taking, and day-to-day program coordination. Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external visitors, volunteers, callers, and community partners regarding product program questions, needs, and required actions. Support timely communication with volunteers, troops, families, staff, and community partners throughout product program seasons. Maintain accurate records, reports, and program documentation. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: Associate degree in finance, business, retail management, or a related field required; equivalent education and/or experience may be considered. Minimum of three years of experience in a high-quality customer service environment. Experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of retail management principles and business practices. Previous experience with Girl Scouts or a similar youth-serving organization is desirable. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is desirable. Skills & Abilities: Commitment to providing excellent customer service for all internal and external contacts. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and motivate others to take action. Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in managing high-volume tasks. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize a multifaceted workload with multiple deadlines. Ability to analyze information, reach objective conclusions, contribute ideas, evaluate plans, and participate in goal setting. Ability to work calmly and efficiently in stressful or fast-paced situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual attendance. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including irregular hours, evenings, and weekends, especially during peak product program seasons. Belief in the Girl Scout Movement and willingness to uphold the principles expressed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Register annually for a GSUSA membership and have a favorable Level 2 criminal background check. Valid driver’s license, use of a personal vehicle, proof of current vehicle insurance, and willingness to travel within Central Florida for business purposes. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to withstand: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Standing for extended periods during product program activities, trainings, or events. Speaking to groups for training, customer service, or volunteer support purposes. Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
