    Your Role and Impact

Flowserve is seeking an entrepreneurial Global Product Manager to serve as the strategic business owner for our global industrial valve portfolio. Operating with a general manager mindset, you will lead long-term strategic growth, multi-year product roadmaps, and complete portfolio financial performance across critical international industrial markets.

In this high-visibility leadership role, you will champion commercialization, margin expansion, and market positioning across Power, Chemical, Energy, and General Industrial sectors. You will partner cross-functionally across global manufacturing operations, engineering disciplines, and international sales channels to translate market requirements into high-impact engineering solutions, driving both organic growth and portfolio profitability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own, execute, and deliver the 1-, 3-, and 5-year strategic product roadmap and portfolio financial performance, establishing and exceeding aggressive global targets for bookings, revenue, and gross margins.

    • Direct end-to-end product lifecycle management from initial business case formulation and stage-gate commercialization through active phase-out and portfolio rationalization using 80/20 methodology.

    • Formulate and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to capture market share, conducting thorough analyses on competitor positioning, margin trends, pricing dynamics, and multi-tier distribution channels.

    • Lead structured Voice of Customer (VOC) research campaigns to translate complex process requirements and customer pain points into prioritized engineering and commercial initiatives.

    • Partner closely with global manufacturing facilities, design engineering, and regional commercial operations to optimize supply-chain footprints, lead times, and capacity allocation.

    • Direct project timelines, design enhancements, and cross-functional stage-gate deliverables for critical global product launches.

    • Leverage advanced data models in Microsoft Excel and interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor pipeline health, product profitability, price realization, and distributor channel trends.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical discipline.

    • 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, commercial strategy, product specialization, or technical sales within industrial fluid motion and flow control markets.

    • Direct technical domain expertise in industrial valves, with a focus on quarter-turn technologies (ball valves, plug valves) or severe-service isolation valves.

    • Proven track record executing commercial growth and product capture strategies across Power, Chemical Processing, Hydrocarbons/Energy, or General Industrial end markets.

    • Strong cross-functional leadership capabilities with demonstrated success influencing global stakeholders across international facilities and time zones.

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or relevant advanced technical degree.

    • Practical experience deploying 80/20 principles for product portfolio simplification, SKU rationalization, and margin optimization.

    • Advanced proficiency in financial forecasting, quantitative data modeling, and developing interactive Power BI executive reporting dashboards.

    • Familiarity with international valve standards (API 6D, API 608, ASME B16.34, ISO 10497/API 607 fire test standards).
