The Product Line Analyst supports Product Management and Category leadership by providing the data, analysis, reporting, and coordination needed to make informed product and line planning decisions and successfully execute special product programs.
The role is responsible for analyzing internal sales, inventory, margin, and product performance data, as well as relevant external market and customer data from sources such as Circana and key retail partners. The Product Line Analyst identifies trends, opportunities, and areas of underperformance and translates complex data into clear, actionable insights for the Product Management team.
A key focus of the role is supporting seasonal and long-range line planning. The Product Line Analyst will develop and maintain tools and reporting to evaluate style and SKU productivity, assortment efficiency, product lifecycle performance, regional and channel performance, and opportunities for line expansion, consolidation, or rationalization.
The Product Line Analyst will also serve as the Product Management point person for special projects including SMUs, Co-Labs, Partner Programs, and other non-standard product initiatives. The role will coordinate these projects cross-functionally from initial brief through delivery, ensuring that requirements, responsibilities, and timelines are clearly defined and tracked.
Education
Required: BS/BA in Business Administration or similar
Preferred: PMP Certification or similar; MBA
Work Experience
Required: 5 Years related industry experience in project management / development for consumer products
Experience Alternative to Education Qualifications:
10+ years' experience in project management and business operations/administration. A PMP certification or similar.
Skills and general experience:
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple large-scale projects at a time and manage those projects to a high standard of success.
Must possess analytical thinking skills and the ability to scrutinize processes, procedures, etc. and in turn assess data and effectively plan and implement solutions.
Requires an in-depth knowledge of business and operational practices and the ability to identify issues and then plan and execute solutions, often on a large scale
Ability to handle stress from managing complex and dynamic workloads, and often conflicting priorities.
Requires constant mental effort with close attention to detail, constant multitasking, and effectively communicating.
The dynamic nature of the position requires excellent time management and organizational skills.
In addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to be objective and tactful in your communication is required. This role requires diplomacy, even in tense situations.
Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Authorized and responsible for continuously improving and performing all duties according to BO Inc's Quality, Safety and Employee Policies and procedures:
Create and maintain a simple product brief defining the project purpose, business opportunity, product requirements, forecast, timing, and key deliverables.
Create and maintain the project in Asana with clear milestones, owners, and timelines.
Coordinate style and SKU creation and ensure product information is accurately established in company systems.
Track product costing and ensure costs and pricing inputs are current and communicated to the appropriate teams.
Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure purchase orders are placed in time to support required delivery dates.
Track forecasts, order quantities, and key commercial requirements for each project.
Coordinate required product information for Sales and Marketing, including product specifications, descriptions, photography, and other launch assets.
Identify timeline risks, missing information, or unresolved decisions and escalate them to the appropriate Product Manager or Category leader.
Maintain visibility to the overall special-project pipeline and provide regular status updates to Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders.
The Product Line Analyst will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and regional teams to improve visibility into category performance, establish consistent metrics and reporting, and ensure special product programs are executed effectively and on time.
