Product Engineer

Pay Rate: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour

Summary:

• Deliver Fuel and Evaporative Emission components to the market.
• Support vehicle launch programs.
• Perform all Design and Release responsibilities for Pro-Launch deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all Product Engineering deliverables for vehicle launch programs.
• Develop commercially viable design solutions for new product opportunities in Evaporative Emissions / Vapor Valve activity.
• Contribute to prototype development including analysis, design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Support Cost Out efforts, Tool Moves, Tool Wear Outs, Continuing Engineering, and Business Pursuit efforts as workload allows.
• Interact with Engineering, Design, Testing, Program Management, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to achieve program objectives.
• Engage with customers (Tier 1 and 2), partners, and suppliers to achieve program objectives.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Stay updated on technical product developments and industry standards through training or other means.
• Support Warranty Technician and investigate warranty requests to determine root cause and provide solutions.
