Position Description:
- Design and Release Engineer for rocker moldings, supporting rocker molding design and development, with additional responsibility for body scope oversight across related components/systems.
Requirements:- Design Release Engineer
- Must possess an understanding of how to design & release injection molded plastics automotive systems components.
Preferred:- Previous experience in exterior systems design & release is also preferred.
- Know how to design & release a rocker molding system to meet North American legal requirements, understand the design and release process, understand GPDS, and know how to provide feedback during feasibility checkpoints.
- Possess an understanding of rocker molding/exterior trim system requirement.
- Experience managing or coordinating body scope oversight across cross-functional teams and suppliers is also preferred, including tracking program timing, part maturity, and issue resolution across the body system.
Education: Additional Information:- Hybrid / 4 days per week in the office / Monday to Thursday
