NATURE & SCOPE

The Branded Ingredients Product Director-Biotics will be responsible for managing and growing ADM's Health & Wellness (H&W) portfolio of branded microbiome-related ingredients in the Americas region. This role combines knowledge of thebiotics industry, product management, project leadership and business development to grow the segment.

Partners closely with Go To Market team, and aligns the broader cross functional team to drive demand generation,

support customer product launches, contribute to the pipeline and alternative ways to drive growth.

This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in strong business development, financial acumen, analytical

skills, project management and a proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environment.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Product & P&L Management:

  • Continuously track demand and streamline processes to swiftly move strategic orders from purchase order to
  • shipment with agility.
  • Analyze financial performance, customer demand trends, and business metrics to identify opportunities for revenue
  • enhancement and cost optimization while managing pricing strategy.
  • Monitor key financial indicators and proactively address variances and deviations from targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain and finance, to develop and
  • execute plans to drive P&L performance.
  • Conduct regular P&L reviews, identify areas of improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance financial
  • performance and operational efficiency
  • Provide guidance to Innovation team on opportunities for future growth and development

Key Commercialization Projects:

  • Actively support and monitor customer-related projects, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations,
  • and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and issues and implement corrective actions to mitigate potential
  • disruptions.
  • Proactively work with Sales and Product Lifecycle team to ensure successful product launches and lifecycles.
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert and leverage this knowledge to drive growth through BD and Sales

Organization

  • Commercial input and S&OP process to align customer forecast and supply across the different entities.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous
  • improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
  • Coordinate with Operations scale up and industrialization of new products within required standards.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish robust KPIs and performance metrics to track progress against P&L objectives and financial targets.
  • Providing insights into business performance and actionable recommendations for improvement in close collaboration with Finance
  • Monitor financial performance regularly, identifying variances, trends, and areas of concern and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive accountability and transparency across the organization

Education

  • Minimum - Bachelor''s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred - MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, marketing, or business development within

probiotics, prebiotics, or functional ingredient industries.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product or P&L Management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing cross-functional projects

Specific skills

  • Proven ability to generate growth in branded microbiome and biotics ingredients.
  • Commercially driven with a strong scientific foundation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze variances, and develop actionable insights

to drive business performance.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing P&L responsibilities and delivering financial results in a fast-

paced, dynamic business environment.

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and drive

cross-functional initiatives to achieve P&L objectives.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting

deadlines.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$146,000.00 - $241,400.00The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
