Product Development Technician

Job Title: Product Development Technician
Location: Irvine, CA
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00/hr
Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent


Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.
• Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; ensure strong laboratory and research skills, compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique, and good record keeping.
• Gather and analyze data using Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.
• Hands-on experience working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and well organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office.
• Self-starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude.
• Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlines.
• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences and Engineering; Polymer Materials.
