    Product Development Engineer

    Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Product Development Engineer in the Charlotte, NC area.  This is a 12+ month contract position with a competitive pay.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Fortune 500 industry leader.

    The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for new product development (NPD) projects for both new and existing products, while working within a cross-functional team

    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years in product development position
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
    • Strong knowledge of problem solving techniques and methodologies
    • Hands on prototyping / design validation model building knowledge
    • Strong Static/Dynamic analytical skills
    • CAD modeling experience (Creo preferred)
    • Knowledge of applicable manufacturing processes
    • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
    • Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
    • Ability to perform in a team environment
