Polymer Material/ Quality Engineer*

Join our dynamic team in Charlotte area as a Polymer Product Engineer where your expertise will be pivotal in driving the development and optimization of polymer/ plastic compounds. Your role will encompass ensuring compliance with key regulatory standards and contributing to innovative quality system improvements and digitalization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development/ quality of extrusion products, ensuring adherence to technical and performance specifications.
• Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance, staying current with evolving standards and legislative requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance quality systems, improve processes, and advance digital reporting capabilities.
• Offer technical support throughout the product development process, working closely with production, engineering, and other teams.
• Maintain thorough documentation of processes, testing outcomes, and compliance verification.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in the polymer extrusion, compounding, plastics related industries.
• Solid understanding of hazardous chemical compliance standards.
