Job Title: Skims Graphic Designer 3
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary Range: $47-50
Introduction
This role is focused on the appearance of product, communications, or collateral materials, working closely on the technical side of graphic design to create schematics for factory teams for production of apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Graphic Design
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong typography and illustration skills
- Knowledge of the female consumer space and ability to work with a range of styles
- Portfolio showcasing storytelling of design process, inspiration photos, design iterations, and a wide range of apparel examples
- Prior work experience in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting head-down work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create multiple design concept options and execute ideas from briefs
- Previous experience with Nike or in a similar industry
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead team projects and work independently on individual projects
- Manage projects from concept development to final production and distribution
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage project budgets
- Act as a liaison among design teams, marketing, and outside agencies
- Build and hand-off seasonal graphic schematics while managing multiple overlapping seasons
- Assist with the organization of files and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment
