Procurement Manager-CapexMichael Page is hiring for a Procurement Manager-Capex for a food manufacturing client. This role is remote for current US residents, but you must be willing to travel and work near Atlanta, GA once a month.Job DescriptionAs the Procurement Manager - Capex you will oversee end-to-end procurement processes and sourcing for capital expenditure projects. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms with suppliers. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Oversee civil construction and equipment procurement for the food manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain strong relationships. Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures. Track and report on cost savings and procurement efficiency metrics. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities. Must have CAPEX experience in civil construction and equipment procurement within manufacturing from either food & beverage or pharmaceuticals. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain is preferred. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies. Knowledge of compliance requirements in procurement activities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
