Procurement Analyst

Summary:

• Location: Newark, NJ
• Duration: 16 Months

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for Construction Services within the company’s Capital Projects portfolio.
• Oversee procurement for Civil, Electrical, and A/E purchase orders, contracts, and renewals.
• Re-source recurring contractual commitments and manage emergent work to support operations.
• Act as the procurement Subject Matter Expert for multiple business units or at the Enterprise level.
• Focus on planned and emergent work within a single business unit, with the ability to apply expertise across units.
• Conduct supplier identification and qualification, procurement sourcing, RFP preparation, and bid evaluation.
• Negotiate, develop, and administer materials and services contracts.
• Manage material and service planning, internal expert review protocols, and purchase order issuance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proficient in analyzing proposals and negotiating with suppliers.
• Experience in integrating scope and commercial requirements into contracts and purchase orders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems such as Ariba, SAP, or CLM.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated history of client satisfaction.
