The Role

A hands-on manufacturing engineering position focused on process improvement, CNC programming, and lean manufacturing implementation. You'll work directly on the plant floor identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving measurable results across safety, quality, and production.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes and supporting documentation
  • Create and optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle time and cost
  • Apply structured problem-solving tools (5-Why, A3, 8D, DMAIC) to eliminate variability
  • Lead and support lean manufacturing initiatives throughout the plant
  • Analyze data to recommend changes in methods, tooling, and equipment
  • Support capital projects, engineering changes, supplier corrective actions, and new product development

What We Need

  • 4-year technical degree or equivalent manufacturing experience — CNC grinding, programming, and machine tool design required
  • Working knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience in structured problem solving and corrective action implementation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with urgency
