Process Engineer - Manufacturing | Sioux Falls, SD

What you'll do:

• Analyze, develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality and efficiency
• Optimize batching, mixing and liquid transfer systems, including pumps, tanks and piping
• Lead Lean initiatives, waste reduction and continuous improvement projects
• Use statistical tools and process control methods to monitor performance and find improvements
• Partner with R&D on new formulations and support new product introductions and scale-up
• Troubleshoot process issues with cross-functional teams and lead root cause and corrective action work
• Standardize processes, document best practices and find cost savings
• Keep operations compliant with safety, environmental and quality standards

What you bring:

• 5+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing
• A degree in chemical engineering or a related technical field
• Strong Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge
• Experience with process control systems and statistical analysis
• Experience with liquid processing, batching or mixing operations
• Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing certifications
• Design for Manufacturing experience
• Strong project management and communication skills
