Drive high-impact manufacturing improvements and capital projects

Job Description

Lead process improvement initiatives focused on reducing costs, minimizing scrap, improving up time, and increasing production output. Support manufacturing operations by identifying and resolving production challenges to maintain efficiency and customer delivery performance. Develop, document, and standardize manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance. Drive corrective action efforts through root cause analysis, customer complaint investigations, and process verification activities. Partner with suppliers to improve material quality, optimize performance, and reduce overall manufacturing costs. Manage capital equipment and process improvement projects from evaluation through implementation. Create and deliver training on new manufacturing procedures and process changes. Support research and development projects, including product trials, troubleshooting, and successful transfer to production. Participate in environmental, health, and safety initiatives while promoting sustainable manufacturing practices. Analyze manufacturing data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment. Strong technical aptitude with proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, or quality systems is highly desirable. Exposure to CAD software, process validation, SPC, PFMEA, or quality improvement tools is preferred. Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments and quality standards is a plus.
