We are seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering project execution. Description
- Lead process improvement and cost reduction initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage engineering projects, including equipment implementation, process enhancements, and production optimization efforts.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to maximize uptime, productivity, and product quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and manufacturing standards.
- Investigate quality issues through root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Partner with suppliers to improve material quality, reduce costs, and support equipment selection decisions.
- Create and deliver training programs related to new processes, procedures, and operational improvements.
- Support product development efforts by coordinating prototype builds, process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and operational requirements.
- Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable results.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of process improvement experience
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality systems, process validation, SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with testing equipment, data analysis, and technical documentation is advantageous.
