Job Summary
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare or hospital financial operations, with proven experience in patient insurance verification, including confirming eligibility, benefits, and coverage details across multiple payers. They are comfortable working directly with patients and can navigate sensitive financial conversations with empathy and clarity, especially when discussing co‑pays, deductibles, and out‑of‑pocket costs.They will excel in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrate professionalism on the phone, and can manage a high volume of patient and customer calls with courtesy and confidence. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies are essential. The ideal candidate is collaborative, dependable, and committed to supporting both patients and internal teams through clear communication and sound financial understanding.Knowledge of Dental surgery and terminology is a plus.Does this position require Patient Care?NoEssential Functions-Oversees, coordinates and administers the financial/business records, systems and processes -Performs financial/business data audits in support of department operations -Prepares reports by running queries, gathering data from systems and compiling the information into useful forms -Corrects and updates systems with appropriate data per department policies and procedures -Identifies and escalates significant data quality concerns to management -Respond to customer inquires timely and courteouslyQualifications
