    Description

    Position Summary:The Department of Research & Health Promotion augments SYHealth's clinical care with health promotion, research and care coordination programs for patients and community members. A major initiative has been to expand testing and rapid turnaround of respiratory pathogen results among the SYHealth patient population and broader community.

    Under the supervision of the Program Manager and Program Coordinator the Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to support and will help support day-to-day functions of the PREVENT Research Program. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruitment and enrollment of study participants, obtaining informed consent, data collection, and other duties as assigned.

    This is a part-time job, working a total of 20 hours per week.

    Job RequirementsExperience Required:

    1 year related experience (in research or Health Promotion preferred)

    Education Required:

    Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field or equivalent experience

    Certifications Required:

    Protecting Human Subjects Research Training (CITI, NIH)

    May be obtained within 30 days of hire

    Verbal and Written Skills Required to Perform the Job:

    Bilingual English/SpanishExceptional communication and writing skills

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
