About the Role:Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities:- Plan and implement Montessori-based curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children
- Create and maintain a prepared, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Observe and document individual student progress and developmental milestones
- Guide children in social-emotional development, conflict resolution, and independence
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive school culture
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students throughout the school day
Requirements:- Experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children in a classroom setting
- 12 ECE units
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet California childcare licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
