Prep Cook

The Prep Cook duties includes following recipes, working clean and efficiently, and maintaining a high standard of food quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

*Prepare ingredients for large-scale catering events, including vegetables, fruits, meats, and seafood.

*Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately.

*Work clean and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

*Maintain a high standard of food quality.

*Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.

*Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

*1-2 years of experience in catering, banquets, or high end restaurants.

*Strong organizational and time management skills.

*Excellent attention to detail.

*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

*Valid food handlers permit.

*Must be able to pass a background check

Education and Experience:

*High school diploma or equivalent.

*Culinary school education is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The work environment is fast-paced and demanding.

The work hours may include early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

The physical demands of the job include lifting and carrying heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, and working in hot and humid conditions.

Work Location:

Main office (45229), various venue and event locations throughout the Cincinnati Tri-State region.

Pay Range:

Full Time Pay: $16 - $22/hour

Attire:

Standard commercial kitchen attire consisting of black pants, black non-slip shoes, black undershirt, and hair ties or coverings. Chef coats will be provided.
