Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and validation activities for automatic transmission systems.
- Design and develop components aligned with performance, durability, and functional requirements.
- Plan and execute validation testing, including test plans, bill of materials (BOM), and test schedules.
- Support test cell setup, instrumentation, debugging, and execution of validation programs.
- Perform root cause analysis of test issues, failures, and stoppages; drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, calibration, thermal management, and engine engineering teams.
- Analyze test data and generate validation reports with actionable recommendations.
- Lead post-test inspection activities and documentation of results.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in powertrain engineering.
- Experience with data acquisition and calibration tools, including ETAS-INCA and Vector CANalyzer.
Preferences:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
