Day in the Life — San Diego, CA
Step onto our fast-paced production floor and start your shift by gearing up: full uniform and a respirator are required for everyone’s safety. You’ll review the day’s batches, calibrate scales, and prepare materials for powder blending. Throughout the day, you’ll rotate between running production equipment, verifying quality, and documenting results—keeping operations smooth, safe, and precise.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and closely monitor production machinery to maintain steady, efficient throughput.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Execute powder blending activities; stage, weigh, and mix ingredients to exact specifications.
- Complete in-process checks and final quality control verifications against product specs.
- Set up, tear down, and change over production lines for the next run.
- Capture accurate production data and maintain organized records.
- Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements and boost efficiency.
- Uphold safety protocols, maintain a clean, compliant work area, and wear required PPE (full uniform and respirator).
- Handle routine heavy lifting and frequent weighing of product.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting skills.
- Clear communication and a team-first mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a quality- and safety-first approach.
- Ability to work various shifts as business needs evolve.
- Powder blending experience is preferred.
