Location: Portland, OR. Onsite initially, with opportunity for hybrid schedule after 90 days.

Overview
LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of market-rate multifamily properties throughout the Portland metro area. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, financial results, and team leadership across multiple sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced property management environment and is passionate about optimizing asset performance while supporting and developing on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of market-rate multifamily properties
- Drive financial performance by developing, managing, and monitoring annual budgets and monthly variance reports
- Analyze property performance and implement strategies to enhance revenue, occupancy, and overall asset value
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to on-site Property Managers and staff
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of site teams
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure operational standards, curb appeal, and maintenance expectations are met
- Collaborate with ownership and internal stakeholders to provide reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management
- Support leasing strategies, rental pricing, and market analysis to remain competitive
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in property management, with multi-site or portfolio oversight preferred
- Previous experience managing or leading teams (direct or indirect reports strongly preferred)
- Strong experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and property performance analysis
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of properties
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of local market conditions in the Portland metro area is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree or certifications within property management preferred
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
