Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To perform all tasks and duties for the general |
maintenance of a commercial/residential facility. |
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor |
SUPERVISES: N/A |
I. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs general building maintenance.
- Performs janitorial tasks, which include the sanitation of all public and private areas.
- Ensures proper disposal of debris.
- Ensures that all garbage duties are executed as needed.
- All other functions are assigned.
II. QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, panting, tiling and woodworking helpful but not required.
- NYS Driver's License

Family Service provides more than 5,000,000 meals each year through a USDA food program in 85 Nebraska counties. This program feeds almost 21,000 children in more than 1,312 licensed home child-care facilities.
Family Service delivers the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program to 3,000 people in Lancaster County each month. Services include nutrition and breast feeding education as well as formula, milk and other staples.
