Job Description:
The Porter reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. The primary responsibilities of the Porter are grounds, parking lot, and community area upkeep, work orders, and maintaining excellent resident relations through outstanding customer service. On call and weekend hours may be required.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the daily operations of the property
Cleanliness of the grounds, pool, leasing office, parking lots/structures, and common community areas
Work Order response
The Turn and Make Ready process
Adhering to company policy, state and federal safety and fair housing laws
Hands on repair and upkeep
Report any safety or maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements:
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Basic understanding of plumbing
A valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required
The ability to work independently with attention to detail
Basic knowledge of pool upkeep
Good interpersonal skills and a great attitude
