If you’re an experienced pool equipment repair professional who can diagnose, fix pool equipment, and manage your own workload, this is your opportunity to step into a lead role—not just another technician position.
At Smiley Pool Services, a growing, family-owned company serving Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Sarasota, and surrounding communities, we’re looking for someone who can take charge of our repair division and help us continue delivering top-tier service.

- Manage your daily schedule and service route efficiently
- Work closely with the GM to run and grow the repair division of the business
- Make decisions in the field with minimal supervision
- Be the go-to expert for complex equipment issues
- Communicate directly with our clients & vendors
- Help improve systems, processes, and overall service quality
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair residential & commercial pool equipment
- Service DE pits, salt systems, heaters, and automation systems
- Install pool lights, heaters, salt cells, and equipment upgrades
- Perform Pentair & Jandy warranty repairs
- Inspect equipment for safety and performance
- Track jobs, notes, and customer communication using the company app (iPhone provided)
- Maintain repair truck
- Support and collaborate with Service Techncians when needed
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on pool equipment repair experience (required)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own day
- Run a pool service route when needed
- Experience handling a full range of pool equipment repairs and installs
- Leadership mindset with the ability to help grow this division of the business
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Clean driving record & ability to operate a truck and trailer
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
- Ability to pass a background check
- A reliable, 'Get it done, positive' attidute.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, salaried (40 hours/week)
- Start time between 6.30AM - 7.00AM
- Based out of our Lakewood Ranch Blvd. warehouse
- Service area: Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Sarasota & nearby communities
