    Description

    HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics Tester to join our talented technical team.     As a Pneumatics Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft systems by conducting functional and pressure testing on pneumatic components.

    Key Responsibilities



    • Conduct functional and pressure testing on aircraft pneumatic components.

    • Test, troubleshoot, and verify the functionality of pneumatic components, including valves, regulators, actuators, and other related systems.

    • Operate manual and automated test equipment.

    • Analyze test data to verify component performance and identify potential issues.

    • Ensure all components meet applicable performance and safety standards before being approved for return to service.

    • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

    • Utilize diagnostic and measurement tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and leak detectors.

    • Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and documentation.

    • Identify testing discrepancies and communicate findings to the appropriate technical personnel.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing work area.

    • Support technicians, engineering, and quality personnel as needed during testing and troubleshooting activities.



    Skills and Education Experience



    • Ability to work well with a team and excellent communication skills

    • +2 years minimum experience in pneumatic testing

    • Proficiency in using diagnostic and measurement tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and leak detectors.

    • Basic computer skills for test documentation and data entry.

    • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset.


    Physical Requirements



    • Ability to stand or sit at a bench for extended periods of time

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting

    • Ability to work in a shop and testing environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to mechanical equipment
